Serie A season 2001/2002 ends and Juventus have been crowned the Champione D'Italia after their 2-0 victory in Udinese and Inter Milan's 4-2 defeat away to Lecce. Alessandro Del Piero and Capocannioneri David Trezeguet scored Juve's goals in Udine. AS Roma finished runners up after a 1-0 win in Torino, they leapfrogged Inter after the Nerazzurri's defeat in Rome. AC Milan finished in 4th claiming the last Champions League positon and Chievo finished off a remarkable season finishing fifth with Lazio sixth! Verona were relegated to Serie B along with Lecce, Fiorentina and Venezia
